FMEA/FMECA Facilitator Competency Development Program

FMEA/FMECA Facilitator Competency Development Program

About This Workshop

This five-day workshop focuses on developing the facilitation skills and technical understanding required to lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) or Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) initiatives. FMEA/FMECA provides a more rapid and less resource-intensive alternative to comprehensive RCM analyses, focusing on component-level failure modes. Attendees will learn how to apply FMEA/FMECA to optimize existing maintenance strategies, identify critical failure modes, and quickly improve reliability. Facilitators will practice guiding teams through the process, ensuring that results are both technically sound and easily integrated into the organization’s maintenance practices.

What Will You Learn?

  • Understand the principles and steps of FMEA/FMECA and when to use them over RCM.
  • Develop facilitation skills to guide teams through identifying failure modes, their effects, and criticality.
  • Learn how to prioritize actions and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Gain hands-on experience with case studies and learn how to implement, review, and sustain results.
